Aum~Mission
This is a temporary web page for Aum~Mission.
Aum~Mission is a mission of peace and goodwill, a mission of trying to improve and preserve the divine essence of humanity by showing care and compassion to those in need and by fighting against speciousness in a non-violent and respectful manner.
We believe that we need to go to the root causes of world issues as much as possible.
Aum~Mission is a mission of the heart and not a mission of the mind.

List of Current Initiatives and Projects
1st Initiative : Helping Those Who Have Been Mistreated By the Legal System
- The Ashiqur Rahman Innocence Project
- This project is about exonerating both Jane Gomes and Ashiqur Rahman. It is our belief that Mr. Rahman is innocent of the charges for which he was indicted in 2012 that he was abusive and killed his infant daughter, Aurora. Aurora was seven weeks old when she died at the IWK Health Centre in July 2009. Mr. Rahman served a prison term of 6.5 years and was subsequently deported back to his home country of Bangladesh. We are also of the belief that Ms. Gomes had postpartum depression and thus had insensitivity issues resulting in the abuse not being reported at once.
- Follow this link to check out and 'Like' the Ashiqur Rahman Innocence Bus Facebook Page. We will be updating this page regularly with posts about any progress or further info with respect to this matter.
- This project is also about helping to ensure the right people are tried and convicted.
- Funding is required to help pay for a private investigation firm.

2nd Initiative : Fighting Against Parental Alienation
- This will involve:
- working with and trying to help parents going through parental alienation
- It may also include:
- helping to encourage lawyers to advocate for change
- helping to promote parental alienation awareness
- The Arjuna Ghose Challenging Parental Alienation Project
- This involves:
- challenging the specious argument by the mother that a 2012 Variation Order was warranted and that the father, Arjuna D. Ghose, needed to be supervised while around his daughter. This 2012 Variation Order saw Mr. Ghose lose 83% of his (unsupervised) access to his daughter (from about 24% to about 4%) as well as, as mentioned, the stipulation that he had to be supervised.
- exposing the mother's deception as well as her defamation of character against Mr. Ghose
- exposing child abuse (mainly emotional neglect) by the mother including getting their daughter to keep secrets since birth
- helping Mr. Ghose's daughter get into counseling (which she must agree to)
- This will likely involve (among other things):
- an application to the Family Court
- It will likely not be possible for Mr. Ghose's daughter (now 15) to agree to go into counseling unless she understands that there was a problem and that it will be helpful. This can only be accomplished through an application to the Family Court to Vary the Order.
- a defamation of character lawsuit
- Funding is required to pay for legal fees.

3rd Initiative : Improving Mental Health Services
- This currently largely involves challenging the "adeptness" of the "science" of psychiatry as well as the "ethical and altruistic" motivations of the pharmaceutical companies
- We propose that:
- the pharmaceutical companies spread misinformation
- to earn the most profit, the pharmaceutical companies militate against awareness and promotion of natural cures and aim for patients to be dependent on their prescription drugs for life
- psychiatrists, due to their ineptness, are the cause of stigma; this includes both internal and external stigma
- for example:
- psychiatrists cause people to question themselves (internal stigma)
- psychiatrists cause unfair treatment from others (external stigma) such as the inability for a client to fight for custody of his/her child through the Family Court due to the opinion of a psychiatrist
- Psychiatrists generally do not teach and emphasize the importance of things like:
- meditation
- believing in yourself
- following your heart
- gratitude
- other natural cures
- Psychiatrists are people, and, like people, most do not have an advanced intuitive capacity, which is what would be required for making claims about a client's consciousness, save a thorough due diligence or advanced testing after setting aside one's predispositions. For example: most cannot distinguish between a very spiritual person (or one with spiritual communication abilities) and a schizophrenic and are apt to diagnose said individual with a schizophrenia (or a similar mental illness involving delusions), due to his/her beliefs, if he/she has any apparent mental health issues; this, as an example, tarnishes the credibility of said individual and causes stigma.
- Setting aside one's predispositions prior to coming to any conclusions about a client does not appear to be a mandated principle or requirement for the practice of psychiatry.
- the actual experts on what psychiatrists call "mental health" are spiritual Masters, such as Sri Chinmoy, Sri Aurobindo, Mother Meera and others; and so it would therefore make perfect sense for practitioners of psychiatry to adopt the philosophies of these spiritual Masters as part of their study and practice
- We believe that if we go to the root causes of problems in this world — such as an insufficiency of inner peace and tranquility within the minds and hearts of human beings on this planet — then many improvements can be made throughout the world (such as an increase in selfless motivations and actions towards others)
- This will involve:
- the promotion and implementation of natural cures including unconditional love, meditation, laughter, therapy and more...
- challenging certain individuals, governments, or organizations in court
- The June 24, 2019 Arjuna Ghose NCR Trial Project
- In late June 2019, Arjuna Ghose will be taking psychiatrists to court in what is called an NCR (Not Criminally Responsible) Trial, one of the few ways to actually challenge an opinion of a psychiatrist.
- Mr. Ghose will be unable to have any legitimate argument before the court unless he is able to acquire a second psychiatric opinion. This second opinion must be filed with the court at least one month before the date of the trial (June 24, 2019).
- If Mr. Ghose loses this trial, he will not be able to help his daughter through the Family Court and he will be forced to go on an anti-psychotic medication. If he refuses, he will be forced to stay at the East Coast Forensic Hospital, further alienating him against his child.
- Succeeding at this NCR Trial will set a milestone precedent making the potential for challenging as well as increased public awareness to what is proposed above in this initiative much more possible
- Funding is required for Mr. Ghose to pay for a second psychiatric opinion and for any legal fees in the event of a lawsuit against certain parties such as the Nova Scotia Health Authority.

4th Initiative : Funding to Help Sincere Underprivileged Excel
- The way the world works right now is a small percentage of the population is holding on to most of the world's money. So it makes sense to help those who are bound to be more underprivileged through crowdfunding methods given the world's situation. But we also recognize that some people become destitute due to mistreatment from and delusions of others on a more microcosmic level.
- This will involve helping to pay for certain expenses, such as education, to help certain underprivileged individuals excel at their cause, education, career, or business.
- More info to come
- 18% of all donations will go towards this initiative once it commences.

- education

Funding Strategies
1. Are we registered as a non-profit organization?
- As of yet, we are not registered as a non-profit organization. We first need to acquire the funds to pay for the legal fees involved in incorporating.
2. Who owns and created this website?
3. What is currently the most important expense that needs to be covered first?
- The current most important expense that needs to be covered first is for Mr. Ghose to pay for a second psychiatric opinion. Unless this can be done within the next month (by May 24th, 2019), it will be very difficult to pursue the entire 3rd Initiative (Improving Mental Health Services) and impossible for Mr. Ghose to help his daughter psychologically, such as by getting her into counseling, with what she and he had gone (and continue to go) through.
4. How are we currently funded?
- We are currently funded by:
- donations from an individual close to Mr. English who would like to remain anonymous
- supplemental income from the federal government of Canada
- our two ancillary operations:
- We will also potentially be funded by:
5. Who will be keeping track of donations?
- The person who will be keeping track of donations will be Piu Roy.
- She is a certified accountant; and...
- has a Master of Commerce degree from the University of Calcutta
- has provided her service to the community for the past five years as a managing committee member of the Hindu Council of Kenya
- has been good friends with Mark D. English for the past 5 years
- she will be doing this on a volunteer basis
