Behaviour Problems in a Child: Could it Be Due to Secrets?

by:Jacob Miller  |  Topics:

When my daughter was younger, she deliberately did things that were bothersome, things she knew I would not like, things that would make me angry — not out of retaliation, but because her mother was getting her to keep secrets. In fact, she was still doing it even at age fourteen.

My daughter’s behaviour problem was due to parental alienation against me by her mother, Erin, which amounted to defamation of character. I have learned throughout the years that to seriously improve my mental health (and thus my success in life), I need to have more faith in myself. I have also learned that my mental health (and success in life) has been adversely affected by insufficient faith in my spiritual Master, Sri Chinmoy, or God.

It is disturbing how little help I’ve gotten from the professional mental-health community on these two issues. (This only came from a licensed therapist I spoke to for a couple months — NEVER from a psychiatrist.) READ MORE
